A Stamp in my Passport

I leave for Israel tomorrow. I can't believe it! I have mixed feelings though. I'm excited to go to a new country, to see the places were Jesus lived, taught and died for us. But it's also hard to leave my family behind.

I have a favor to ask, could my family, friends, and neighbors please check to make sure Garry survives 10 days alone with our boys.

I'm looking forward to sharing this once in a life time experience with you when I get back.

Just call my husband Clark for short

I love that Garry gets into Christmas. I never have to get after him to put the Christmas lights up. Great job on the new lights this year Hon!

Our Cutie Pie Andrew

A few weeks ago we took Andrew in for a random eye check-up. The doctor ask Andrew if he was having any problems with his eyes and to my surprise he said his left eye was blurry. I was shocked, he hadn't ever mentioned this to us. Well, our cute little guy needs glasses. He's also a great candidate for contact lenses. (With the contacts he'll only have to wear one.) Here's a picture of Andrew wearing his new glasses.

My Hobby

One of my hobbies is making cards. I don't have as much time as I would like to make them but I've enjoyed doing this for about four or five years now. Here are pictures of the last two cards I made for card group.

I really need to learn how to take better pictures!

Hurray for HGTV

A couple of weeks ago I decided to paint my oak entertainment center black. If it weren't for all the home improvement shows out there I don't think I would have ever been brave enough to do something like this. (Thanks Deb for your help. My sister Debbie is my total inspiration.) I think it turned out great. I wonder what else we can paint?

Lunch with La

This past weekend my sister Melissa and her family moved to Colorado. Before she left, me and my siblings got together for a goodbye lunch. La told me how happy she was that all of her brothers and sisters could be there. We are all very sad that she had to move but we know it will only be for a year. We love you La!

Happy Day!

Hurray! My last church history tour for 2008 left today! I am always so burned out by this time. Luckily I have until next April to rest up before work gets crazy again. The tour that left today is my favorite tour that I operate. It's my Fall Church History tour. It goes to Vermont, Palmyra, Niagara Fall, and Kirtland. The last time I went on this tour I was pregnant with Ben. Here are some of the pictures I took. I never get tired of visiting these awesome places.

Sharon, VT, Joseph Smith's Birth place. Aren't the colors gorgeous!

The path leading up to the sacred grove.

The Peter Whitmer Farm.

Angel Moroni at the top of Hill Cumorah.

A pretty awesome view of Niagara Falls from our breakfast table.

My cute sister Tricia in front of the Kirtland Temple.

Rafting down the Provo River

On September 6th we went rafting down the Provo river with High Country Rafting. We had such a great time! The boys are still talking about it and they can't wait to do it again.

This was such a fun family activity!

Gar, Matthew, and Stephen had just as much fun floating down the river as they did rafting. The water was a bit to cold for Ben and me.

September.

I love September! It's my favorite month of the year. I love the smell in the air, the changing of the season, BYU Football, and the excitement of new beginnings. In honor of this month I have also chosen one of my favorite songs for you to listen to. "September". Enjoy!

Hello Everyone

Welcome to our Blog. I'm trying to find a minute to enjoy the blogging craze. Hopefully by next week my life will be a little more calm. (Yea, right!)
