Kids can be so dramatic.

Yesterday I announced to my children that Monday's were going to be No TV and No Video Game Days. You would think I announced the end of the world. There was crying, and begging, and nashing of teeth.

When they said, "What are we suppose to do" I knew I had waited to long in doing this.

After about an hour, everyone had calmed down and we had a very nice evening. The boys realized there were plenty of things to do and they enjoyed their day.

I loved it! Don't tell my kids, but I may add another day.

We did this not long ago too! That was all my son wanted to do. He would have this big fit about it. So I packed everything up and put it away for about 3 weeks and now they can have it back out on Weekends. It's amazing how much more creative they are with out it. I really see a difference in him.

We had to make all school days no video game days around here. It was a hard adjustment, but well worth it. I need to add a few no TV days as well. It sounds like a good idea!
