Kids can be so dramatic.

Yesterday I announced to my children that Monday's were going to be No TV and No Video Game Days. You would think I announced the end of the world. There was crying, and begging, and nashing of teeth.

When they said, "What are we suppose to do" I knew I had waited to long in doing this.

After about an hour, everyone had calmed down and we had a very nice evening. The boys realized there were plenty of things to do and they enjoyed their day.

I loved it! Don't tell my kids, but I may add another day.

Draper Temple Open House

We just went through the Draper Temple and like all the temples it was very beautiful. We're looking forward to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. Well, I guess I should say Ben is looking forward to more cookies. That was his favorite part.

Seems like just yesterday

the social worker said, "Meet your new son." Time sure does go by fast.
This is Matt's first time shaving. Not one cut. Good job Matt!

Now what do I do?

I just finished the last Twilight book and I'm sitting here stunned that it's over.

Now you know why it took me so long to post my Israel pic's. :0)

It's about time!

I finally got some pictures together from my Israel tour but I couldn't get the slide show code to post to my blog. So you'll have to click on the link below to see the pictures. As I mentioned before, it really was a wonderful trip.

Ben got his first stitches

Wednesday night Ben fell on the step going from our family room to the kitchen and his bottom two teeth cut right through his upper lip. I've never seen anything like that before and it kind of freaked me out. It's so sad to see his cute face get his first scare. Ben's doing fine, in fact he didn't even scream out when they put the numbing shot right into the cut. We are so proud of him for handling this so well. Now we just need to work on mom handling things like this better.

One of the most awesome experiences of my life!

I'm back from Israel and it was wonderful. I was very safe there. In fact we didn't even know there was a war going on. I will put a slid show on my blog soon.

Now, I know I should have been reading church books and the bible during the whole trip, but I read Twilight on the flight home and I'm hooked. I hate vampires so I was shocked that I liked it so much. I need to go see the movie now. Anyone want to go with me before it leaves the theaters?
